Question: I notice that you don't have the  [insert site name] site listed for [insert state name].  Should I tell you about it?

Yes! Please send me an email ([email protected]) to let me know.  I can't promise how quickly I will be able to incorporate the information, but the goal of this project is to have as complete an inventory as possible.

Question: I am using data from the EWHADP in a paper or presentation.  What is the appropriate citation?

A suggested citation is listed for each version of the database at the bottom of the page that discusses the data.  Suggested citations of the database follow the format of this example:

White, Andrew A., and Benjamin Steere.  EWHADP Database 2014_03_12.  Eastern Woodlands Household Archaeology Data Project, 12 March 2014.  Web (www.householdarchaeology.org).  Accessed 24 March 2014.

Note that a citation of the database does not replace citing individual primary sources when particular data are used.
